As of today, per the BOE. On 5 October 2026 the Spanish Treasury announced it will postpone it to October 2028, together with e-invoicing; until that is published, these dates apply.
Invoice as usual. Comply without thinking about it.

You issue the invoice as always. Torqua records it, chains it to the previous one and sends it to the Tax Agency.
Offline, too
If the connection drops at the garage, you keep invoicing. The invoice goes to the Tax Agency as soon as it’s back.

At the end of each quarter, a ZIP with both ledgers, form 347 and the journal entries for Sage 50.
What people ask before they start.
- Already have software?
- If you invoice in Spain, ask whether it sends every invoice to the Tax Agency with VERI*FACTU. Torqua does, on all three plans, and your data comes over from Excel or Access.
- Hasn’t it been postponed to 2028?
- The Treasury announced it on 5 October 2026: October 2028, together with e-invoicing. Until it is published in the BOE, the dates above apply. Torqua is ready either way: VeriFactu is done, and every invoice also comes out in UBL, the e-invoicing format.
- What about TicketBAI?
- That too: if you invoice in Álava, Bizkaia or Gipuzkoa, Torqua uses TicketBAI, in the same plans.
- Do I need a card to try it?
- No. The 14-day trial opens with your email. We only ask for a card if you decide to stay.
- Am I tied in?
