How it’s done, step by step.

Short guides for everyday tasks. And Spain’s VeriFactu explained without jargon.

Set up your garage

From sign-up to your first day with Torqua.

  1. Click “Try it free” and enter your email and your garage’s name.

  2. Confirm your email with the link we send you.

  3. Open the panel: you have 14 days of Torqua Plus, no card.

  4. In Settings, fill in your opening hours, your lifts and your tax details.

Add a car by its plate

The technical sheet fills itself in for cars from Spain and Portugal.

  1. In Vehicles, create a new one.

  2. Choose the plate’s country, type it and click Search.

  3. Check what comes back: model, engine, body and tyres.

  4. Assign the customer and save. Add anything missing from the car’s page.

Book an appointment

Using your garage’s real availability.

  1. In Agenda, pick the day and the slot.

  2. Find the customer and their car, or add them right there.

  3. Confirm the booking: the customer gets the alert.

  4. Bookings requested by customers show as pending: confirm them or offer another date.

Send a quote that’s approved by link

The customer accepts from their phone and the job is created.

  1. From the car or the booking, create a quote.

  2. Add labour and parts from Stock.

  3. Send it: the customer gets a link by email or WhatsApp.

  4. When they approve, you see it straight away and open the job with one tap.

Run jobs and track hours

Which car is where and how long each job takes.

  1. In Jobs or on the Board, move each job through its statuses.

  2. Each mechanic starts their day on their phone and clocks the job they begin.

  3. When it’s done, mark the job finished: the customer gets the alert.

  4. In Reports you see hours and cost per mechanic and per job.

Invoice with VeriFactu

A valid invoice, chained and with its QR code.

  1. The first time, check your tax details in Settings.

  2. From a finished job, create the invoice: it inherits all the lines.

  3. Issue it: it is recorded, chained and carries its QR code.

  4. Send the PDF to the customer by email or WhatsApp.

Invite your team

Everyone with their own account and role.

  1. In Team, click Invite.

  2. Enter their email and choose their role: admin, front desk or mechanic.

  3. They get a link that’s valid for 48 hours.

  4. Your plan includes 3, 6 or 12 accounts; add more from Plan if you need them.

Your customers’ portal

What your customers see and how they sign in.

  1. Customers sign in with the email on their record, or with Google.

  2. They see their cars, invoices, history and upcoming services.

  3. They can request a booking and mark the dent on a drawing of the car.

  4. They only see what’s theirs with you: no other customers, no other garages.

WhatsApp and email alerts

What gets sent, when and to whom.

  1. Alerts go out automatically: booking confirmed, quote sent, car finished and invoice.

  2. By WhatsApp if the customer agreed to it on their record; otherwise by email.

  3. Your plan includes a number of WhatsApp alerts per month; beyond that they go by email.

  4. Customers can opt out at any time.

Online booking on your website

Let customers book without calling.

  1. With Torqua Plus: copy the two-line code from the panel, or install the WordPress plugin, on your existing site.

  2. With Torqua Pro: your own website already has the booking button, in My website.

  3. Bookings arrive in your Agenda as pending.

  4. Confirm them or offer another date: the customer gets the alert.

VeriFactu, explained plainly.

What it is, who it affects and when. A two-minute read to forward to anyone who needs it.

What is VeriFactu?

It’s the Spanish Tax Agency’s system to make sure invoices produced with software can’t be altered afterwards. Each invoice is chained to the previous one and carries a fingerprint and a QR code your customer can scan to check it.

Who does it affect?

Companies and self-employed people who invoice with software in Spain. In Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, TicketBAI applies instead — its regional equivalent.

From when?

Under the BOE today: companies from 1 January 2027; the self-employed and everyone else from 1 July 2027. On 5 October 2026 the Spanish Treasury announced it will postpone it to October 2028; until that is published in the BOE, the 2027 dates still apply.

What about e-invoicing?

It is a separate obligation from VeriFactu: sending invoices between businesses and professionals in electronic format. According to the BOE, it starts on 6 October 2027 for those who invoice more than €8 million a year and on 6 October 2028 for everyone else.

What do I need to do?

Invoice with software that complies. In Torqua it’s built into all three plans: nothing to switch on and nothing extra to pay.

What changes on my invoices?

They carry a QR code and are recorded in order, with no gaps. To correct an invoice already issued you make a corrective invoice, as before.
